ABOUT CHEF ELIAS TADDESSE
Chef Elias Taddesse is the Owner & Executive Chef of Mélange, a new dining concept in D.C.’s Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood that blends American classics, contemporary French techniques, and traditional Ethiopian flavors. Prior to opening Mélange, Taddesse dazzled in New York where he was Executive Chef at Michelin-starred Caviar Russe; and chef de partie at two Michelin star Corton under acclaimed Chef & Master of Molecular Gastronomy Paul Liebrandt.
Chef Taddesse was raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Minneapolis, Minnesota. He studied at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France.
